Young buck

I drove by a field the other day that had been mowed down. I thought it looked good for detecting but when I got there it was 6 inches of stubble and this poison ivy looking low growing vine weaving throughout the 5 acres. It's a park that never gets tilled, just mowed meadow, so I headed out and saw this guy and one of his girls watching me. At least I found something to take a picture of.

The bucks are starting to rip up the trees in my woods. Time to put some protection on the trees close to the house or they will be shredded too. It's that time of year.
