Hey! I'm 15 sophomore in highschool. I'm wondering about all you other highschool aged rollers, how often you guys do search and how do you balance homework and dumping etc? All comments appreciated!

I am 15 years old too. I crh weekly and I dump weekly. I am homeschooled and I work ahead so I finish early every day. I should be done with all of my school work for the year by Christmas if I keep up the pace. Happy hunting!

trust me borris, you don't want that job. the only acting roles you can land, are pretty much all breakfast discussions. you get alot of breakfast, but you dont make much in terms of money.

17, senior, i don't really do homework: I just make sure I understand the material for the test. I started 2 summers ago when I was 16, and I've been addicted ever since.

I am also 17 in high school. Currently applying for colleges and what not. Homework, blah, never really been a fan. I try to take care most of my stuff before school/ during school. Everyday after school I have a pick up of 4 half boxes. I'll look through them, and dump them the same day. I put about an hour into CRH after school every day, and a little more on fridays (I have 2 pick ups). I am currently doing 24 boxes a week (of halfs). When I was 16 back in the 60's I was able to do my coin hunting usually on the weekends. Didn't do big box volume, but was able to get rolls here an there, along with coffee cans of coins, to help fill my folders. Back then silver prices were extremely low, but I didn't have the extra cash to use to stack silver. Only wish I did back then, cuz everything was silver then, even Morgan's & peace $ floating around. Keep at it young man, you'll work it out in your schedule. Keep stacking.

I would like to still consider myself young, I'm 22. I will be graduating college in December so no more Homework for me. YAY!!!!!! I will say enjoy high school while you can cause the first 3 years of college sucks. If you go into engineering that is. It has by far been the most difficult thing I have ever done. I wish I had done CRHing when I was in High School and had more time on my hands. Now I am graduating and getting married in April so who knows how may boxes I will be able to do after that. Luckily my fiance loves doing cents, she loves those wheat backs, so I will at least be able to keep up those with other boxes occasionally.

No matter what the age HAVE FUN OUT THERE

im 15, here in florida the pickins are really good because all of the seniors in the nursing homes have huge jars and boxes of old coins that there dumb relatives just take to the coin counting machines. I do mostly pennies and sometimes nickels. in the last two days ive gone through 4 boxes and found 2 1918's in really good condition and a 1902 indian head cent. ive got 8 boxes that should be delivered to my supply bank tomorrow so wish me luck, as for homework its just a matter of priorities, math problems will always be around, but how long is that silver gonna stay in circulation?

Yeah, but, you have to play the system.

Good grades in high school- good college- good grades at good college- good degree (in the right field)- good job- better quality of life.

Jobs and money aren't everything, but they sure don't hurt, and you need to work and do well to get there.

I'm 17 (almost 18) and I do a little roll hunting, mostly halves. I also have all the tellers at the bank looking out for me. They know I collect coins and banknotes and always have something good for me!

I'm 18 and a freshman in college. Right now I'm just getting $5 a week in quarters from a quarter machine to look for state,territories, and national park quarters. It's not much but it's better than nothing. I simply don't have enough time to be hunting boxes of cents and nickels.
