I've never had any luck in a creek, but I've got these off of the banks of the Ohio River.

The first one is actually still in the water and was about a foot off shore. The second one was just past the water line and in the sand.

yea some ridge, that creek is no more than 2ft wide its a spring creek in Licking county.

Since I first saw this post like a month ago I have been taking my camera for some insitus in my creek. Nothing spectacular but heres some from about 5 hours in 1 stream today. I have a bunch more I'll post here when I transfer from my other computer. Enjoy!

Found some more insitus. Just about everything I have was found in creeks. My best creek find would be my knife in the center of the frame, followed by the small green granite axe.
