There is definitely alot of crude artifacts of this material .... but in certain places there is an awful lot.
Every now and then a very nice piece by a talented knapper is found. I thought starting a thread for the best of them might offer a glimpse at some quartz that is a bit more than fugly.... I'm sure there are some better examples than what I have. If my friend Jonathan sees this.. I know he has some good ones to add.

Great quartz pieces! Love that crystal quartz.

Love that Hardaway. This one was found by BirdpointGriswald.

Nice Quartz folks, love the crystal Hardaway. Here's a Halifax, 6000-3000 BP, that I found in the creek at the edge of our property. It was pointed out to me that one shoulder looks like a possible graver, maybe just a funny looking shoulder.

Nice quartz! It is hard to find them that nice. In southern New England, our collection would probably be close to half the size it is without quartz. Here are a couple frames, frame of quartz scrapers from the same field, and a couple quartz points that are probably early.
