YTD dime results (Jan-July 2016)

Have not posted monthly results as much anymore, mostly because good #'s don't exist anymore. But my YTD findings 1/1/16-7/31/16 are: 10-Merc's, 121-Rosie's, (131 total) from 122-boxes, for 9.47 ozs, 1.07/box. Prior years were better but nothing to write home about; 2015 with 35-Merc's, 410-Rosie's, (444 total) from 335-boxes, for 32.12 ozs, 1.32/box. Results for 2014 as 43-Merc's, 566-Rosie's, (609 total) from 428 boxes, for 44.05 ozs, 1.42/box. Have not been searching as many boxes per week as previous, but it's the avg per box that is VERY LOW from prior years. Going to check my older records for 2013/12/11, but I'm sure the avg per box was much much higher back then. Has your averages declined as much? Comments!!

I stopped doing dimes altogether this year because I went from a 1.5 silver per box average to about a 0.5 silver per box average. There are too many new coins circulating too so it wasn't worth my time.

I gave up roll hunting all together due to rotten bank maintenance fees.

I, too, gave up dimes this year. I had decent results in the beginning of the year but they started to tank. I had something like a 15+ skunk streak with dimes, and halves were heating up for me at the time, so I decided to give dimes a rest for a while.

Not bad. I stopped dimes as well. I actually found it more beneficial to get boxes of quarters. I was finding 1 per box for about 5 months then it stopped. Quarters are easy to get rid of in my area as well. Banks love when I bring them in rolled

I, too, have given up on dimes AND quarters(I'm strictly speaking of machine-rolled boxes). I was on a 22 box skunk streak with the dimes and a 29 box skunk streak with the quarters. It wasn't fun anymore. Sounds like things are going well for you, though....
