KGC 3rd Degree was stated to be in NYC; then O.A.K. was "born"... like the SR/SJ; being 33rd, it makes sense.

What about Franklin Roosevelt? Wasn't he high up in the Freemason's? He was in on the Oak Island dig for the Holy Relics. It was during his administration when the US Treasury Seal was placed on the back of the One Dollar Bill. The US Treasury Seal tells how to find the "Ark of the Covenant of God."

As Police Commish. in NYC, he PROBABLY reviewed KGC/OAK files/folders; he knew EVERYTHING!

As Commissioner of the Civil Service 1889-1895, he became acquainted with J.Sterling Morton who was Sec. of Ag. It was at that time he came West to Arbor Lodge and met Paul Morton. I bet he learned a lot more on that hunting trip.

In May 1873, Mr. Paul Morton, who had been in its land office for a year, was transferred to the General Freight Office of the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad, at Plattsmouth, Nebraska, receiving a salary of twenty-five dollars per month. He remained in this office about two years, when he removed to Chicago and became a clerk in the General Freight Office of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad. Two months later, Jesse James and his notorious gang of outlaws robbed the Rock Island express train on the evening of July 21, 1873, a mile and a half west of Adair, Iowa. Those two events are pretty close on the ol timeline.

They seem to be attracted to Davies County for some reason. First in 1869 and then again in 1871, just two years later and still on the lamb they run Southwest out of Corydon Iowa TO Davies County with a posse on their tail? :dontknow:

What do you think made them choose to run South out of Iowa to Davies County to escape from the posse? Perhaps it was because that would seem like the LAST place they would go, I guess when you are wanted for bank robbery and murder you are already wanted in ALL of the states anyway??? I think there is another common denominator not being added up in Davies County choice for safe hiding and passage. Even after getting the drop on the James boys at Civil Bend and catching them with their pants down in a gunfight....they still got away. I would think that the best way to do that was fresh horses and a hiding place in the area. If you look into Missouri history prior to and during the Civil War Davies County was a very notable place of interest for many important people. It had also been the place that the Missouri Morman War started. When Frank James surrendered in 1882, it was to face Daviess County charges in connection with a train robbery/murder as well as murder charges in the 1869 Gallatin bank robbery. Frank James was tried from August 20-September 6, 1883. Interest was so intense that the trial was moved to the Gallatin Opera House to accommodate the crowds. James was found not guilty of involvement in both crimes. Believe it or not, charges were made that the jury was filled with Southern sympathizers who refused to convict one of their own......

Nearly all towns in Daviess County were built around railroad depots.

"Trains impacted the very fabric of every community, bringing national figures like William Jennings Bryan here or delivering disadvantaged children from the cities seeking opportunities in rural Midwest small towns via the “Orphan Trains. The Omaha & Chillicothe Railroad was in operation in 1871, putting “Pattonsburgh” on the map in northwest Daviess County. ” " Among the most popular tools of the Bryan campaign were a series of ill-informed and wildly popular pamphlets featuring a young boy who lectured bankers on the intricacies of global finance."

Paul Morton was just a boy when Jesse robbed his first train on July 21, 1873, but his Father Julius was also a railroad man with many connections including banks, insurance companies, and politicians in a secret society. He had been involved with the railroad before U.S.Grant ever had anything to do with it, and I believed he harbored ill feelings towards some railroad officials who were in the way of progress as he seen it. He had been muscled out by certain Republicans and other money men with some foreign interests backing them. He was a massive shareholder with pull and money. The Adair Robbery was ill-planned and may not have been Robbed by Jesse and Frank. There was another train robbed just a few days prior to that train they were also "suspected" of robbing. There was only $3000 in that trains safe. Does not seem planned well enough for an inside job to me.:dontknow:
