MJ, glad this post came back up. Love looking at two wheelers. I sold the 85 Sporty I posted on 7/18/07. Got it running then sold it.
Bought this to replace it. 2003 Superglide upgraded to 95 c.u. Love it. Runs strong and is very comfortable. One of these days I am going to ride it out your way. Take care

my first "real" scoot was a 69 305 dream and worked in a chicken farm shoveling poop to earn the money to buy it. lol gosh you brought back stinky memories with that pic. lol thanks for showing it. Nice history there

nice bike and fine young man

Thanks Bridge,

I asked him about the bike today... the kid he traded it to mangled it a bit, then swapped it for an old Blazer.

These kids are real horsetraders!

I'm trying to get my boy to put our Husqvarna 430xc and Yamaha TT350 back together before we get too much further into summer. Never had the Yamie running, but the Husky was a white knuckler!

He's busy building a hotrod 302 for his Fox body Mustang, now... and girls...
I may have to rebuild the dirtbikes myself!

Those little tiny Hondas were loads of fun!

Wish I had a flock of 'em now...

Many moons ago... When I was 160lbs (that WAS a loong time ago) I went for a 25 mile round trip over paved back roads on a little 50cc Honda... riding DOUBLE with my 120lb girlfriend on the back!

Wish I had a picture of that...

Yah, those Honda Dreams were neato motorcycles. Very smooth running.
But the Yamahas and Suzukis had the 2 stroke motors that ran circles around them so they were not appreciated for what they were and discarded. Very collectible, now!

I also remember the Honda 250 and 305 scramblers. they were quick, and fun.
Put the british bikes out of business...

Our kid has one of the newest hondas out that has set all the records for a cuple years straight.
Fabulous machine. It just doesn't have the character of the old ones, though.

I'd just as soon have a '62 pan as anything.

That's a nice old Harley, Bridge...

Probably goes much faster than it would stop!

I really prefer motorcycles that can be ridden, even if I could afford something like that.

Had a couple 45's in the past and all the clattery noise they make drove me crazy!
Thought they were gonna blow up any minute. LoL
I had rebuilt them to specs, but they were scary.

Much prefer OHV engines.

Sears and Roebuck built or had a motorcycle in the 60’s. I’m not kidding, I just saw an old ad for one. I remember seeing them in the store and in the catalog. It was called a Sears and Roebuck but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was built by Briggs and Stratton or Honda. Chrysler just brought out a huge motorcycle. I don’t know if you want to count these special bikes.

These are photos of my Fathers shop back in the 60s
He started out with lawnmowers and bicycles, then got into Cushman scooters then Indian and Honda motorcycles.
The other one is on the next page.
