fixit101, I just spent a week in Ashland, AL. last week. Even found a bit of gold. I don't live there though. I live in south GA. Passed through Columbus on my trip. It's a small world isn't it. Thanks for posting a hello on my mug shot.

you gotta try fly fishing! you will love it. those big ole fish suck up that tiny fly and you have to tease them out of the water with a scrawny little line. i gentley put them back for another fight. we have a great creek 1000 feet away with browns, rainbows, bass, bullheads and more.

I caught a rainbow with a hook and a piece of corn once. Does that count? It was fun. Actually fly fishing is on my to do list on our next visit to the Mountains.
