POLL: "Subforums, yes or no?"

Hey mods, since majority ruled for changing the CRH'ing forum to include sub-forums such as CRH logs, cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves, and dollars, and there seems to be little activity going on with those sub-forums and most activity is below on the normal forum, can we vote whether to keep the sub-forums or not?

I do like the CRH log idea, but honestly think the others should go(I vote to keep only the CRH Log sub-forum)... I appreciate all you guys and gals do for treasurenet, but some things just don't always work out.
Thank you,
BuffaloBoy.

note: please don't make this a heated debate, I am just trying to get my point across

.

voting to support thesub-forums will keep them all,
voting against the sub-forums will delete them all, and keep the CRH log sub-forum :)

I agree, I have not been keeping up-to-date because the subforums just aren't working too well.
I wish to see it like it was, I pretty much skip over the sub forums
So the answer is very much dislike

the man of many words has spoken! I agree, these subforums, I guess the "vocal majority" is really a small minority of about 15% of the votes... if this were a real election, it would be considered a landslide...
That's a week to long It makes it to spread out!!

It is actually 6 likes, I accidentally voted yes. Also, I am in support of two more sections, one for questions (for new CRHers), and one for foreigns.

Also if we keep the idea of too many sub forums again, trrasurenet will lose many posters. 1 subforum is OK but 3+ isn't.

Sorry but Common now :icon_scratch:
maybe I'm not getting your point, but

Do you really think members are so shallow, They will not post because there are sub forums ?

Don't get me wrong, I see no reason to separate members posts by every tiny
subject either. If your a coin Roll hunter & you're post interests you,
I say you should be able to post it without having to wade through extra titles.
( But a "Penny" index.jpg Forum would have been nice :laughing7:)

1 subforum for CRH logs the majority will approve, but the majority might not approve 3 subforums.

I think that a questions section might help. And here is why. How many times have you or seen someone post "scan through and read other pots about how to do such and such." I see it all the time. New members always have a lot of the same questions. This way all that would be contained in one section.

Also if you do not feel like helping newbies or just want to skip that for what ever reasons you would never have to click on that sub section.

I'm not so Sure I like the idea Of separating Newbies,
They will get less attention & feel ignored.

And as soon as They post in the main section their will be those who will not only Report their Post,
But will verbally Chastise them instead of helping :(
& We all know where that leads.

Let's not change the thread topic, Jeff. Please stay on topic. We're talking about sub forums.

Buffalo I received many requests over the last year via pm and in posts to about the additional sub forums. If members want them removed we will remove them but we can do without the snide comments.

Please, how would you like me to refer to you, just Jeff? And could you please let me know why you're coming at everything i post? Please don't take this as a demand, Jeff, I just want to know what i am apparently doing wrong. Thanks.

I did not intend for newbies to only post in the question section. Thought it might keep some of the same old same old questions from reappearing. Maybe instead we could update the stickies.

your either being too sensitive or pretentious.

if I was coming at everything you post, you'd know it.
