need help to ID my oldest CRH find

The penny has a figure sitting with a shield and a pitch folk on the front and say "One Penny" with date of 1906. On the back it says "Edwardvs VII DEI GRA:BRITT OMN: REX FID:DEF: IND: IMP:" with a mans bust facing right. I am guessing it is an English Penny. Any info on what it is - British or other part of the empire ? Value ? Thanks.
