When I was very young while visiting family on the east side of the Sierras we went to a museum . I remember Carson City Nevada or Virginia City Nevada possibly a tourist trap ? But there was a skull and some bones of a reported giant with red hair . But so long ago I have forgotten the details .

Definitely shows a Christian influence. Maybe a blend of the old and new.

That’s pretty interesting I’ll have to check that book out ... like you said has a biblical feel to it close to the omitted book of Enoch
