Thanks !

$2.08 Cents of the clad,
the Wheat,
and the ring came from an area
Maybe 15 feet long & 6 feet wide
& it's still loaded.
Part of a swimmng pool.
only part with Grass yet & apparently never touched.

The Pearl I Eyeballed & Picked up on my way back to my Truck.

Will Give it another try Tomorrow.

The Quarter Came from an area accross a fence from an old Hotel.
I'm sure the fence wasn't there in the 1800's when the hotel was going.
but the area is a field of foot high Ferns
Try Swinging a 15 pound sovereign/WOT in that :P

The Tag came from Clean fill they are Bringing in

& the Ice packs from an Empty resevoir on site.

Can't even Penetrate the weeds To near the race Track at this point.

very nice job on the 1897 barber quarter and the golden ring! I hope its gold! You should check it out with a jeweler. Maybe the marks were faded off or something! :)

So where's th pic of the young lady ??? ;D

Nice finds..I haven't done a Barber quarter yet.

I found a ring like yours except with a "G" initial. I don't know about yours, but in the back of mine, inside the double band, it says AVON (you need a strong magnifyer to see it in mine).

HH,
Nat

I was going to add that it reminds me of AVON
but I can't see if it is for sure

Try Swinging a 15 pound sovereign/WOT in that

You're a workhorse, Jeff! ;D Swinging a WOT in the turf is impossible over here. You'd have 5 pieces of trash under the coil with each swing. My stock/8" coils have outperformed my WOT in the turf every time. But at the Beach, the WOT is king!!

Nice job on your Barbie Quarter!! Go back to that spot and see if you can get another!

Congrats,
