06/16 Dimes and Nickels

My regular pick-up had their coin order come in late, so I didn't get my usual box of dimes and nickels till Thursday. The dimes were mostly customer wrapped with a handful of brinks rolls. I'm pretty sure they're somebody's dumps, and they were skunks with just one 2010 Canadian and a 1983 Panamanian dime to add some variety. The nickels were nice though.

I also got a South African 1 Rand coin (about $0.1477) and a two-headed trick nickel.

Yes, I too have had some luck with nickel boxes lately, good job and keep it up!

I'm averaging two Buffalo per three boxes (and only slightly more war nickels), so keep searching and you'll find plenty.

This month, my average would be 3 Buffalo per 4 boxes but the first box I looked through this month had a whopping 14 Buffaloes in it, no silvers though! Sadly, it will be a long time before I can top that one. My silver average is hitting pretty well too, 1.4 per box and that freak buffalo box put my buffalo average at 3.4 per box for June. I'm pretty happy with the nickels around here, wish I could say the same about everything else. HH all!
