1911S on the right. Semi key date. Hell of a hunt

Feels good

Thats a nice looking Mercury......congratulations!! I'd check that clothes line area one more time.

Nice finds bcruzin! Love the mercs. I found my first one in a freshwater swimming hole in ankle deep water. PS: found my first buffalo nickel today!

Nice dime and wheatie, dunno if you did this already. But try heating some peroxide up and sticking the penny in it, cleans the dirt off of em nice. HH

Those pennies, I believe are about $40 in good condition. I found one earlier in the year.

For the silver, just keep finding old spots like your mother-in-laws and they will keep showing up. Where you find wheats, there is a good chance you will hit silver also.

Be cautious on the peroxide. I generally just clean mine in white vinegar very sparingly and even try and leave a little dirt on it. Better to leave them dirty then to clean them too well.

Hmm I've tried white vinegar before, seems to damage my pennies lol. Peroxide just seems a lot more gentle on the copper coins in my opinion.

Great finds, I love that avatar, I would be so worried that after I dug a hole and bent over to scoop out the goods that my baby on my back would end up in the hole. haha

I'd check it five more times. Good advice TR

He could always find the baby with the detector if he launched it bending over. lol

Nice finds, I love looking for dated wheaties, cool find there.

So my bro in law tried to clean my pennies for me while I was rechecking the clothesline. With freaking hot sauce!!! Ruined three Wheaties. Ruined! Nothing worse than a shiny Wheatie. Patina gone

Appreciate the kind words from TNET

Nice finds ! Yep, nothing like too much of the wrong kind of help! My mantra is "please, don't help me! I can get into trouble all by myself."

Thoughts?
Thanks for looking.
