Well I managed to get out the other day for the first time in a while. Hunting time has been very limited for me this year. I hope to get out a lot in the next few weeks though before old man winter arrives.

Anyhow, I hit one of my Rev War camps which I have beat pretty good. I didn't have high expectations as there are zero non-ferrous target sounds on the site to be heard on my explorer. I set out to dig those "funny" iron sounds (those who use the explorer know what I mean) and I managed to pull a couple of targets from the ground.

The button was my last signal so it saved the day! I have found several 60th buttons in the last few years, but this one is the best condition wise I have pulled yet.

Other finds included a cufflink, two shoe buckle pieces and a pewter spoon bowl. I have found pieces of about 20 different shoe buckles on this site, and NONE match up! hah Not sure how that happens!?

Thanks for looking.

That's a pretty sweet looking button for sure, another one that'll be in the back of my mind on my next trip out! :icon_thumright:

That's a great button there! I've been hunting 6 years and have yet to find a decent Rev War button...still looking though!

Well with the area you are in I have no doubt they will come, and probably in bunches after you get your first one. Seems to work that way. I didn't find any for years, and then suddenly have a large collection. I think I have a good 50 or 60 Rev War buttons now.

LOL...ask and ye shall receive...got one today!
