$100 Marble

[DiggerBug]

Nana and I got out Wed. for a short hunt that ended up lasting all day. I'm the one that finally cried "uncle" because of the heat!
Found a nice spoon and a great marble. Saw the marble peeking out of the dirt at me. Duffytrash said it should sell for about $100 or so!

When I went back to the truck I saw this Luna (?) moth. I was going to touch it but as I got few inches from it and it moved! Scared the crap out of me.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting to all!

Nice marble and an especially pretty pic of the moth. I have never seen a green one. A $100.00 find is cool.

That's a great marble there.

Those are one of the most sought after marbles. I think they are german made. I've found well over 300 marbles out in the field.

Never found any of those examples. Lots of clays and some bennies. And alot of nice glass one's to. But none that have that swirl in the middle.

I think that's my marble. Just ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you I've lost my marbles. Very cool marble, $100, WOW!

That is a great marble. . . and moth too!

My dad gave me a huge bag marbles that he had as a boy (from the late 1920's) when I was twelve (some of them even looked like the one in your pic). . .
So, what did I do with them? I used them with the Whamo slingshot I got for my B-day I just wish. . . .

I love luna moths, I would have to say it makes me happier to find one of those than money. My little girl even has a big silver necklace with one on it. My cat usually eats them before I find them but they are soooo lovely, pick one up next time and inspect it, very special. Great find!

[duffytrash]

the rare pink color in the inner core what makes it....schweet!!!!!
