$100 Marble

[DiggerBug]

Nana and I got out Wed. for a short hunt that ended up lasting all day. I'm the one that finally cried "uncle" because of the heat!
Found a nice spoon and a great marble. Saw the marble peeking out of the dirt at me. Duffytrash said it should sell for about $100 or so!

When I went back to the truck I saw this Luna (?) moth. I was going to touch it but as I got few inches from it and it moved! Scared the crap out of me.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting to all!

Great Marble, but hate to say it.....I enjoyed the moth more! See I use to have a huge collection of butterflys and moths and never saw a luna like yours. See me and my brother called them Moon Moths (Luna =Moon), but ours were tan in color with big round circles at the end of their wings and they were usually dark blue in color with yellow inside. They also had a lite blue colored strip going around the edge of their wings. It brought back some great memories! I caught many moon moths growing up and actually found one last year and showed some of my friends at work because you usually don't find them that often. They all enjoyed it and then I released it. Anyways, Great job! I have a few old marbles I have found too and one day need to find out how much they are worth. Take care.
