decided to follow my nose today on where to hunt,
and decided to swing by Hegins Park.
As I got there I saw a Mountain of Dirt, a Dozed area and a few
Park officials standing around, so :laughing7:

Normally I don't bother them here by asking for permission , but since these were fresh diggins
and they were there I Walked over & Asked:

"You's building Another Ballfield :o ?"

he said "Yea ! You wanna Buy it ? :tongue3: "

I said "I wanna Metal Detect in it !!! :laughing7:

he said "Yea You Do :laughing7:"

"You can Do anything you want !!!! "

so off I went :tongue3:

Why, how nice of 'em to pile up the park in one corner "sandbox" for you to play. ;) LOL

Good saves! I'd have asked them where the dozed up dirt was headed. ;)

I did later as I showed off my finds.
the one guy said it will probably be spread out on top after they Build & level the playing field, as the fill they bring in won't be the greatest.
So I will most likely get another go at the top stuff

Nice silver, WTG. That dirt looks soooo nice and soft and fluffy. (unlike the frozen stuff up here):BangHead:

yes we had 3 to 4 inches of Rain around here on top of the Melt
anything that was frozen is gone :headbang:

Good job Jeff, I would roll in the mud any day instead of flicking ticks like I did today.

Congrats on the silver quarter and the bread token find Jeff! :occasion14:
Kudos to you for having the guts to ask for permission while the supervisors were there too!

Here's an aluminum bread token I found last year,
Dave
