1200 miles for 1800's.

DECwhen i got my ace 250 on dec. 4th 2005 i was in a home in new Hampshire. it's my brothers place and he is still there. i moved to Georgia be for winter was over on march 4th 2006. well i fell in love and was made plans to set up home here in Georgia then drive back to get her in may.
OK now the fun stuff i drove 1200 miles none stop a day be for i needed to so i could MD the house i did so much winter reading up on. and this is what i got for the day in the front yard of the home.
"All great stuff but the best thing was the love that was found to be stronger after so much time apart"

1.83 in clad

1> It's a tag on the front is the seal of new Hampshire. on the back it reads
"seal of the state of new Hampshire" "warranted 14k. gold plated"
to me that counts as my 1st. gold

2> Johnson & Bassett manufacturers of wool spinning machinery. Worcester Mass. USA

3> Dog tax tag :o reads Peterboro NH 13 1928 (A 1st)

4> 1838 large cent found only 2 inch down in a flower bed :o (A 1st)

5> 1882 ih cant about 4 inch down i was on a role with wheat's so i did not see till i ran it under some water. :o (A 1st)

12 wheat's that are in olive oil at the time dates vary most i cont see yet.

some other stuff but nothing to right home about ;D lol

ya i did jumps of joy for 3 days thinking of the day i had and how it made the 1200 mile drive so werth it. even more so that is ;D

And the 1200 mile drive back was alot shorter fealing with my girl and my mding with me.

NOTE: the olive oil was the only way sed to be OK by a coin dealer i have talked to for years. thay frown on any others i guess so thats the way i use from now on. thanks for looking all.

I still remember my 1st Indian Head-1895. I have found 27 this year and have a total of 48 since starting in June of 2005. I also found an 1844 Braided Hair last year as well.

Re: 1200 miles for 1800's.

thanks all for your input. you all give me drive and idea's for goals to strive for.

as for her wanting to MD with me well she can't wait to get out there. i plan on getting her one soon.

and i wanted to stay longer to dig more but time was short but i dream of what may still be around there. there hole street is pre 1850

when i read of your coins it gives me goals my next is any silver coin thats something that i have not found yet. lil step's i guess but boy what a start. thanks all
