Lock & Key

Hey Everyone

It's been awhile since I've posted anything. I've been having a real dry spell.
I got out Yesterday and found a lock & key, they don't go together but I did find them in the same field. I was hoping that all my friends on the forum would be able to help me date the lock & key.
The lock has safe written across the front there are no other markings on it and there is nothing on the key. Thanks for ant help you can give me.

Why did you flop the pic?

Keeps people interested! Makes some just ask the queston why? ;D
For others... they'll think they've got their glasses on backwards or finally decide that they've been sitting here at this damn pc for hours and something just doesn't look right but they can't figure out what yet. :P

Nice lock and key Kim!

Re: Lock & Key

Thank to all for your help. Sorry I forgot to flip the pic. Thanks PBK for giving me a direction to start searching for info on the lock. The lock didn't get lost to far from where it was made i guess, I found it in York PA. .
Any ideas on the key? is it for a lock? I was thinking maybe a cabinet since it is so small.
Thanks again to all you guys are a great source of info.
