Hey everyone ,
I hunted a school field today that I found on Google Earth . It had a nice large soccer field and it was in a late 1950's area . It turned out to be a great hunt !! Best find of the 3 hour hunt is a nice 14K gold ring !! It has a yellow or goldish colored stone in it . It is my #130 ring for the year . Also found a silver Rosie , 1949D . Two Wheats 1934 and 1958 . My hunting Buddy found a 1902 silver Hong Kong coin that is the size of a dime . Many other items were found along with $12.04 in clad .
Can't wait to get back out tomorrow !!
HH
Glen

That is a beautiful ring. Citrine I think. A buffing wheel with rouge from Harbor frieght ($10) will make that ring shine.

How do you find so many rings? There must not be many metal detectorists in your area. My buddy and I have only found 3 this year--you are way ahead of us...lol

How deep was the ring, where on the field did you find it, what was the reading on your detector.

I find most of my rings on school fields , and yes there are many people in my area hunting .
As for how deep it was , 3 inches and it was on the field near the tot lot . The VDI on my M6 was +10 .

How about a pic of all the 130 rings? That would be cool to see them altogether. I just can't imagine finding that many! I've been at this game for just over 4 months and I have found only about 5 rings. At that rate, I will only get about 15 for the year. Finding more than one every three days would be mind boggling for me! How many of these have been gold?

Wow! Now THAT is impressive!! Just seeing them all at once, like that, makes it even more impressive. You definitely have the knack for finding rings. I spotted a couple that I had found in your second box.......the kind they sell at gas stations for $1.99, ;D. I'm still trying to get my head around finding a ring every three days.......I was over two months before I hit my first one......but, it was nice! Of course, they are ALL nice to me!

Great work!!
