I saw his excal video the other day, modified one of my Excaliburs, and took it into the bay today. In the middle of an old car rotting away out of site under the water while tripping over the drivetrain I pulled this 10K 1947 school ring out of the biggest rusty mess you can imagine. Ive seen it at a very low tide a few years ago, it is a car. Thanks for the video lesson bigscoop !

Congrats again Mike !! Nice ring! When I think of old cars in the water (or anywhere for that matter) I wonder what was lost under or behind the seats just waiting to be discovered.

Very pretty ring. 14 or 10k? You've mentioned both.

You are absolutely correct, I typed the wrong K. Its 10K not 14, and it was so black I couldn't get enough detail for a picture. 10 minutes of cleaning and it shined up great! Also I found my scale it weighs 6.2g.

This was a huge swim area up to the late 70's. Im pretty sure this ring was lost by a somebody in the water and had nothing to do with the car, they just decided to drop it where the car would be to make it hard to find in 2021!

The Excal is capable of some amazing things, a lot more then most realize. You're on your way now.

Congrats on the gold ring, now that's what one can call a big iron patch find.
