This is my first white gold ring and it's also my dirtiest. By the looks, it must have been the ground for a long time. It’s probably so dirty or black because most white gold is alloyed with either silver or nickel. After I get finished with it we’ll never know it looked like that.

I wonder what kind of stone or gem they are. Does anybody know? I hope the The Gemologist can confirm the call. I think they might be either Ruby or Garnet, that’s my guess. I’ll post a cleaned picture in a day or so.

I also found a 1920 Colombian V centavo coin, etc. Does anybody know anything about the strange coins?

:o great ring ! and is your back sore from all that digging ? :D

Finally found a website that shows the gem testers that a couple of my friends bought. The website is just for illustrative purposes, the guys I know spent a lot less on their units because they bought them from another club member who has a retail business license for a rock shop.

Hi vanoldschool.
The bottom says HOT WHEELS P-911 1974 (not in that order) and it came out of the ground with onyl two tires and they don't have a strip. The rims look to be gold. Is it still good? No damage other the the two missing wheels.
