I found this buckle on a local field which was declared as a future building site and where I have found items and coins dating from the stone age up to the Napoleonic era. But the main habitation was in the Roman era. I have found about 300 roman coins, dating from around 80 BC to 380 AD.
Here's another buckle, dating to the 14th century

Wow, I can only hope to make finds into the late 1700's where I am. They are here but havent found any thing earlier that a 1815 U.S militia button. , Battle of New Orleans time line.
