What's up everyone, was detecting for a bit yesterday behind my house (south shore mass) and found my second 1650's liard de france. The first one was found about 100 feet away back in 2017. Looks to have a G mint Mark? On the back.

I couldn't find any reference to a "G" mintmark for these coins, but there was a "D" mintmark. Normally that would indicate the Lyon mint, but for three years (1655-1657) these were minted in Vimy.
Looks like a current market valve of $25-$30, but if it was me, I'd keep it. Rare as hen's teeth around here! Good find!
 
Nice. I grew up in Quincy. Every is so developed I couldn't imagine finding anything in that area anymore. Great jib
