It appears to be at least three silver cobs encrusted onto a piece of the reef.
If you look at the closer photo you can see the cross on the obverse side of one.
Looks alot like the cross on this half reale I found in the same area.

I wish I could show you how I managed to retrieve that signal at the edge of the drop off in rough surf.
Let's just say my sinuses were cleared... and my scoop works as a pretty good anchor.

Seagrape access was closed today because of erosion. Yesterday afternoon there was a lot of erosion on the cuts and the bottom of the stairs were just above the sand.

hunted seagrape to turtle trail for 5 hours Thursday night, some erosion, lots and lots of seaweed, did not find anything good and very few junk targets!

Yes,
Great finds...those of you who did and photgraphed them :icon_thumright: then shared the photo.
I'm to embarrassed to post my 1715 finds from this past week, lol.

That 8 Escudo turned out fake according to the finders father, dated 1710. still waiting on the photos.

The smallest of the three crusted areas of the piece I found looked different to me .. I started with that one.
Here is what I have uncovered so far.
And..no..PF.. not me...I was busy getting drenched..haha
My scoop is a pretty good anchor.

I was reminded by a friend about the negative experience I had recently with posting a find on here and some derogatory comments and judgements were made by a few other posters with regards to my finds in the past... so after getting over the initial excitement of making new finds and the desire to share my photos, I gave it some thought and decided that I would be better off not posting... Sorry for the confusion on my part...

Why make an issue of it, then? Why not quietly delete your posts and slip away? Otherwise, my recommendation would be to ignore the naysayers and post what you're excited about. I've always enjoyed your posts.

Hi Darren... Not making an issue out of it... Just a quick explanation of why I suddenly decided to delete my posts, that's all. I appreciate those that have been decent and have made positive comments and contributions with regards to my posts and the explanation was for them ( and you as you have always been supportive of others)...

"The kids" these days say...

Haters gonna hate.

If you ain't got haters you ain't doing Sh*!

Other posters finds keep my fire burning for those times when I can't go hunt myself.

ZDD braving the cold water and rough seas just makes me want to get out even more.

Post on, post on!
