Had a short one hour hunt at an old home that I have been to on a few occasions. Shotgun shells rule, so I only took the high tones for my short hunt. I dug a 1831 LC and a 1739 King George ll. The George is the very same year I made the banner with. This one is not as sweet but in great shape. The other coin in the mix is heavily toasted. The little silver spoon has another half waiting for me to find. Maybe the next time I have an hour to kill...

Luv bangin' out lc's from Southern Jersey soil . Only place I know where there are krazy effects on condition of copper :dontknow: old 1739 KG II is a wonder & beautiful survivor versus a likely newer copper that is "wasted " :laughing7: Great mix as usual Arty , glad your staying with a TN Today's Finds forum trend lately which is " nothin' makes sense to me ! "

Nice finds, congrats!

Thanks everyone for your kind replies. I did not get a chance to even sit down to look at TN to reply. I have been busy with life and holiday preparedness, gads. It was great finding an old copper in good shape for a change, after finding so many deep fried ones. Thanks and Merry Berries to all... Arty

The George II is in amazing condition. Congrats Artie!
