I was out hunting a old home site Yesterday,and I found a Irish Half Penn,Date 1766.

Thank you,fore all your congrats,on finding this coin. It will be 4 years since i have been Metal detecting. I never thought that i would find a coin like this at all. PS Thank you don fore the web site link.I have to agree,they are butiful coins.

No i don't! I was told to put a little bite of joy soap on it and gently spread it over the coin.And rince it off with water. It still has some dirt on it,but that' as fare im going to clean it.

No not yet,but I am planing on taking it to a local coin dealer and fining out. But im not parting with it.

Wow! Great find, my oldest copper coin is an 1828 Large Cent. Nice pics as well, if you ever want to re-size them to a smaller size, you can go to www.photobucket.com, set up a login name and password, and upload your pics there for editing, and re-sizing.
