Hey everyone,
I got an invite from some fellow enthusiasts to detect a nice spot on the coast dating back to the 1630's which I of course jumped all over
. I basically found
everything in and around a small, dense pine grove. My 1st good target was the button...I've never seen a button like this, it has a dome with a rim at the base with ornate
design all over(sorry doesn't show in pic) If I had to compare the shape to something I'd say a Drill Sergeant's hat would suffice. Next, I got a deep clad quarter signal. I
flipped a plug, rescanned and she started really singing
A couple more bites and about 8 inches down I scored my 1st 2 Reale!! I was quite motivated at this point and
made it a goal to get on the copper board as well. I made it a point to search hard to reach areas and in a patch of thorns which were unforgiving, I got a nice familiar high
tone and scored a sweet 1838 LC. Thanks for looking everyone and HH!!
