Re: 1787 Connecticut copper & Beautiful Lc

Nice 1825 Large Cent, the Conn copper is one of the most common ones but also a popular variety due to the name assigned to it. It is a Miller 4-L variety, known as the Horned Bust. Easily identifiable by having only single dots on the Obverse for punctuation and the somewhat crescent shaped die crack on the obverse is diagnostic for that variety.

Also, if your interested, your LC appears to be the N7 re-punched 5 variety

I looked at the Large Cent last night and yes, concur on it being a N7 variety. Low L seems to be there, wide date, and all the reverse features seem to be a perfect match....
