I went out with the gang this morning to a new spot that Elad has been having luck at lately. It is an old farm field hidden behind some modern buildings.
The weather was great and swinging was easy. The signals were all deep and unless one listened for the slight threshold changes, they could easily be missed. I was digging some nice pewter buttons when I got a broken tone that I considered passing up. Out of the ground came an 1858 Flying Eagle in fairly good shape!

A little while later Elad called me over to listen to a deep signal he was getting on his Etrac. The V3i picked it up just as well, reading about 10+ inches with a high broken tone. After a few minutes of searching the hole, he dug a Seated Dime. A few minutes and 20 yards away I got a very similar deep signal and dug the 1790 Half Reale! I cannot make out the mint mark but it does not appear to be Mexico City.

I also dug some nice other relics including the watch winder and what appears to be a noose (?)!

A great morning of detecting, with some nice buttons with great backmarks as well!
