Don't worry CRU, I have enough for both of us.

Why don't you come visit for a good old b*ttwhipping

My Explorer would gobble twice the amount you're little tesoro does. Would you really want me to dig that great treasure you've missed all these years? ;D

Looks like you haven't been paying attention. I use an XP Goldmaxx Power ;D Cortes is now my backup.

I'd still kick your a$$. You guys also play on ice right? :D

I originally got it as its belt mounted & it would ease an old injury. Still digging all at the moment, but its already increased my hammered count & is good on small romans, in heavy coke & iron patches & slightly better depth. Although its not depth you need on UK ploughed fields, its speed of recovery & pace.

Yep, would be different except for the patches of iron. My fields generally just have one hot spot where the house stood and covering the rest of the field usually doesn't get you a whole lot. Some day I might get over!

Fantastic find, if only i had one.

Great job

Nothing wrong with that old 6000. I met an old man (I'm and old man , but this guy was a real old man), who hunted a site with me and he kicked my butt with his old 6000! I had a new super whiz bang detector with all the buttons and whistles. Great coin, keep after it. Monty

Sweet coin and in great condition!!

Wow what a beautiful coin in great shape.

Congratulations.

I don't know much about spanish silver like that, but does anyone know why its IIII for 4 and not IV?

Nice 2 Carolus!

Worth in the $20 range on ebay but worth a lot more to a finder.

I know if I ever dug one I'd never sell it.

Just think about who may have lost it.

got two 1/2 reales, both 1788 Carolus III, about ten feet from each other..Mexico City mint. my oldest coins
