1810 and i dont think I'll ever do better!

A year ago I hunted a small local park and dug up my first large cent that turned out to be an 1801 triple error. Still a rookie at that time with my At pro. I returned to that park and decide to hunt right next to the fence listening to constant interference from those pesky links. Dug up three old fen post caps before I got my forth 90 tone and placed the digger in the dirt expecting no more than another post cap. What was in that plug will forever be burned into my mind. Take a look ..... IMG_20150516_234456_336.webpIMG_20150515_155453_936.webpIMG_20150518_082631_494.webp

That is an amazing find. That park must have some history, and if I were you I'd be there again tomorrow and the next day.

You are right, it will be hard to outdo that beauty.

Congratulations on your amazing find. I know how you must be feeling today as I found mine on Mothers Day. Could you post additional pics and the reverse side to share with us?

SUPER !! That is the fun part of our hobby, you never know what is in the next hole

Fantastic, congratulations. All recent ribbing aside, the ATPro has the uncanny ability to get up close and personal on fences or playground equipment and find the goods. Sub 8-)

I would say whoever lost that cried for a week.:laughing7:

GOD Bless

Chris

8-) Is that Cappy a half dollar ?

I saw that! Jealously I said when will my day come. You just never know. Your coin is stunning in detail!

The rev answers that question , Nice 1810 Half ,, Congrats on that find ! :occasion14:

Oh wow, that's a nice coin. Great find and yes, it may take a while to top that stellar find! Congrats

Great coin. I was doing the same thing with my Tesoro and found some wheats and earrings that way. Sometimes your ear picks it up, sometimes I'm sure it doesn't.

Congrats on a super find. Eye popping!

That's pretty crazy that you and TBD's coins are both dated 1810.

Congrats.

OMGosh! That's a great find! check out the park area's history.. I bet there's more.. but so far, that's super! HH

Incredible!!! That's so awesome! Very happy for you :)

Absolutely amazing! Congrats

That's what dreams are made of! Congrats!!!

Nice coin! Would love to dig one of those Capped Bust halves. They seem to pop up fairly often - more than seated halves from what I've seen posted.

That was probably a little more than a days wage back then. Pretty awesome! I found a counterfeit bust half but much rather have found the silver
