Sometimes my husband will tell me not to dig a signal as it reads junk( to him) but I try and discriminate different tones and sometimes surprise myself AND him!

you never know what you might miss doing that. If at all possible I like to clean an area using no discrimination then focusing on all the weaker often deeper and older signals. a coin on its side or even under a piece of junk iron are easily missed. HH.

I use a very old analog detector with zero bells and whistles.. I however ..know the tones like second nature and feel like its an extension of myself
