1829 half

this was one of my better finds last year but i didnt have a scanner,so im posting it for the practice of useing my scanner,and yes my feet did leave the ground when she poped out of her resting place.i love this hobby ,and now thatn i have a scanner i can share my finds with others who know how much fun this hobby is

That is a beautiful half.

Way to go. I'd like to find a seated half here at some point. Just finding old pennies is a challenge though. Silver wasn't dropped to often in those days.

Hey everybody ! (anybody) Why is this coin not being nominated for BANNER I really don't get it.

I know these capped bust halves do not come up as found coins very often at all , and considering that the

last year of issue was like 1836 or something , can you guys and gals tell me why this is not a BANNER find ?
