1865 MEXICAN MAXIMILIAN EMPERADOR 22K BULLION COIN

OK all, I need some advise.. I found a posting for an 1865 Mexican Maximilian Emperador 22K gold coin that is around 10MM in diameter. I am curious, are these legit? does anyone have any information on them.. I did some research.. some sites say its only worth 1 dollar because its 22K gold plated... others say they are replicas used as wedding tokens....

Any Thoughts?

I'm familiar with only one gold coin from "Max"; a 20 pesos gold coin (.875 pure) minted in 1866 with a diameter of 35mm.

So I am looking and if theyre 1/50th an ounce of gold, each coin should be worth 25 bucks right?

It's electroplated as stated in the site I referenced; a novelty item IMO.
