1870 IH with great detail what marksmanship, this large cent 1827 is the best looking LC I've found, I have also decided to no longer clean my LC Copper B/C it always looks its best straight out of the ground.

Great finds. Love that LC. What is that a well?

Yes it's an old spring head, their are several on the property,

Near mint condition lol! Beautiful LC!

Sweet LC. ! I completely agree -in this case- it certainly has a beautiful honest patina , Nice .

BEAUTIFUL Large Cent!

Now who would do that to a semi key date IH...???

I wonder how far of a shot that was, looks like a .22 caliper, I could, with good optics, make that shot easy at 100 yards. Except it would be a zincoln penny.
Warm soapy water with very gentile care on that beauty, they both have a great patina. I wish I could find one like that.

Love the "environmental damage" on that indian head! Maybe its not a candidate for slabbing.

i was thinking the same or maybe a 17. i am going to figure this one out, i am not sure if they had those calibers back then or if it was shot later,

That's an awesome looking LC, and someone had fun with that IH! Nice finds.
