Spent 2 hrs. in the may fly infested woods lookin for a foundation I could not find. Saw 6 deer though. So on my way back to my truck I decided to put an hr. or so into this spot we dug many LC's, Injuns and flying eagle cent from. We figured it has been hunted out, but I was all alone and it was on the way so what the hell! 2 mins. into it I get a nice quarter hit 6 inches down about 2 ft. from another dig hole. And here she is! It's in great shape too! I figure F-VF condition. NO PLACE IS EVER HUNTED OUT!

Nice job. That sucker looks good!

It's been too long since I've found a true silver quarter. And, the reason is simple; quarters give off great sounds! You were indeed lucky; the Dectector Gods smiled on you today! :)

WOW ~ that is a very nice Barber Quarter! WTG!

I love going to "hunted out" spots ~ there's ALWAYS more to be found!

Thanks for sharing!
