im so proud, my first piece of silver from the 1800's .:headbang:found next to a sidewalk in maxton, nc about 7-8 inchs deep.no mint mark. was a very jumpy signal rang up 78-90 on my atpro, not as solid like i would have expected, thanks for looking!!!

Great Score!!...ive dug halves before that rang up the same way, but stayed under 88 :dontknow:

Im guessing it was the position or iron near it...Congrats!..Im still waiting for my first Barber Half
 
first piece of old silver and it is a half .very nice find,I still seek to find one.

thank you all! its going to be alittle while before i can get back to that spot, but thats ok, i have plenty of dirt fishing to do around here, finding that was like catching 9lb+ bass always looking for the big score:laughing7: i love this hobby!
