Found my first class ring detecting in the water today. I believe it's from 1899 and it has the initials from the local high school in the middle. It is stamped 14 k and Wendell. Anyone know this maker.
Seems scubadetector has a handle on this.
I don't know squat, but I will say it sure has the look of age to me.

I've found a little information on a wendell jewelry that was in Minnesota not too far from here in 1899. Here is a little better picture of the WHS in the middle of the ring.
That is one swell ring. So if the ring was made locally there in Mn. I would try finding the school. Now that would be even f a cool factor. I think I would wear that one, it has a great look to it and is old to boot. Great conversation maker for sure.
Thank you for all the kind comments. Doing a little research an the high school here in town had 10 graduates in 1899. Pretty amazing if it was one of them.
