Ok, so I got back to Grandma's, helped My Sweet Wife decorate cake balls, then went out for an hour in Grandma's yard that We've hit so hard!!!! With the 10x5" Coiltek Coil on , I was able to pull two Wheats and one old Big Smith button out of the yard. They were all within an inch, if not touching each other. A lot of swinging for two Wheats, but when I cleaned them off inside!!!!
I got a 1914D Wheat!, 1920 Wheat, and the Big Smith Button.
What away to start Christmas 😁🎄
Thanks for looking and

Would a 1943 copper wheatback count in the series of coins to find? Maybe it's in a different kind of category is my thought...
The 1943 Copper Wheat would be a really super incredible find, but as scarce as this coin is, I'd say it'd be in a different class all of its own. That's just My opinion .😳

I think you're right ...maybe a different category...I would love to find a 1914 d...my earliest is a 1919 on the wheatbacks...

They're out there!!! Somewhere😳 I've been lucky enough to find a 1909 S, and a 1909 VDB Wheat. That 1909 S VDB is like a ghost too!! 1919 seems to be a common date to find. I've came across several 1919's.

I'm not an expert numismatist, but I was thinking only of regular issue cents in the above quote. I would consider the 1943 copper as an "error", but that's just my personal opinion.

Yes, it would be an error coin because it wasn't supposed to even be. Thanks!

I was fortunate to also find a 1914 but it is a no mint. Not worth a thing. Great find
