1916 Buffalo,1884 Indian, 1900's button

Got back out to the park and did better today.
Got 1916 Buffalo Nickel, 1884 Indian Head, another early 1900's button a pin with the words "For Progress In Writing" an old lead tooth past tube and another fishing lure Kastmaster Acme Tackle co.
The Buffalo was a couple inches down and rang up at 17 and the tone was off so it's good I was diggen everything and the Indian came up at 48 and dug down under the goose Berry roots 6 inches. to get it out. This area has a lot of iron nails and rusty can's. I don't know why the V.D.I. was that far off on the Indian. It does look thinner than the others. Got a whiskey cap still on the bottle neck "U.S.1,771,034 National Distillers.

Nice buff with a clear date. I found one of those national distillers caps a while back. Your's is in great shape, Nice IH too, Rodger

Now that I look at the Buffalo I think it's a 1916-D. The D looks like the one in the coin book like an F on the 1918/17D.
