Nice job Relic. I like those old dog tags.

Very nice old dog tag, congratulations! :occasion14:

Nice old tag. Lots of collectors out there.

That is a sweet find, my oldest is 1935. Congrats.

Oddcoins will be along shortly...

Love the old dog tags, Sweet find!!
I've got you by two years, my oldest is 1922. Lol

Congratz on your oldest dog tag! What a beauty!

No he was a bad dog. Ran away from home in 1924 and still hasn't come back!

I gave all my dog tags to a girl that was going to make a hat band out of them. Never did see how that turned out.

First bone-shaped one I've ever seen. Pretty cool. I started a thread under General Discussion the other day (Dog Tag Challenge). You might want to have a look at some of those posts. My earliest is a 1919, but it's already been trumped.

I'm no where near that date.
I think my oldest is 1958.
Congrats

When I saw the shape I did not think it was going to be very old. Then I noticed it was made of brass. The patina was impenetrable. I actually used a brass brush to get it to the point where you can even read it. Although it was a very soft brass brush

Any old dog tag is cool. This is the first one I ever found that wasn't totally modern and aluminum.

Nice tag! [emoji106]
