1924 dog license

I found this today it is my oldest dog tag. Westmoreland County Pennsylvania 1924. I am guessing I do not have a shot at the oldest known Westmoreland County dog tag. I am sure he was a good dog though LOL.

No he was a bad dog. Ran away from home in 1924 and still hasn't come back!

I gave all my dog tags to a girl that was going to make a hat band out of them. Never did see how that turned out.

I think I remember that post. I was hoping I have the oldest known one in Westmoreland County but I found one from 1910 on the internet that was dug.

When I saw the shape I did not think it was going to be very old. Then I noticed it was made of brass. The patina was impenetrable. I actually used a brass brush to get it to the point where you can even read it. Although it was a very soft brass brush

Any old dog tag is cool. This is the first one I ever found that wasn't totally modern and aluminum.
