Me and my friend found a 1941 or 42/43 Dodge grill on his grandfathers farm in perfect condition basically or def. able too restore it by painting it or however. Anyone know the value of what someone would be willing too pay for it say if they are restoring a 1942 dodge? Thanks.

Sorry meant the grill not the hood. Two photos are examples.

well...more than I have to pay...
I had a 1939 3/4 ton flatbed...short running boards straight from the factory...
looked just like that one after the salvage yard fire...someone thought it was still worth enough to steal it...{flagstaff}

if it is complete, no serious cancer issues....1,200 to 1,800 dependent up where in the country you are...I paid 100.oo for the one I loved...but that was back in '75....

I am going to head back out there hopefully this evening and get a photo of it... will update.

Here it is... I was told by a expert that this in good condition and can be restored to it's fullest by a professional restoration. But do not know the value.

For the whole nose and grill trim like that, I probably wouldn't take anything less than $300.

The chrome trim is in good shape. That usually goes for $100 or more by itself.

I watched the show american pickers where they bought something similiar for 500 then sold it for 1200:icon_thumright:
