Hello! I found this unusual wheat penny while I was CRH a while back. It looks crazy, the dye looks (how do I put this?) messed up and the coin seems to be faded some. I have a couple of pics of the penny. Sorry if these pics are bad!

Seems to be PMD (Post-mint damage), but without better pics it's hard to tell.

Take it out of the Mylar flip and snap some photos.

Please excuse my first couple of pics of this penny, I put it in a flip because I thought it was weird. But I took that sucker out and got some better, detailed pics.

I also forgot to mention, the coin feels lighter than the other wheatys I have which I thought was weird too.

I agree, it is just beat up!

Ok, thanks for all of your inputs! I thought it was unusual because I never seen a wheat penny that beat up before. I'm still new to the whole coin collecting business. Thanks for your help everyone!

Yepper, definitely damage.
