Detector(s) used
Ace 250
Woke up at 4:30 in the morning to drive to Galveston (about 2 hours) for our first beach hunt. Found some interesting items amid all the seaweed, tons of jellyfish, and trash. A .925 silver Italian chain and pendant was the most exciting find. There was also a set of keys that had been washed up, complete with barnacles. Sunglasses, a cheap earring, couple of toy cars, plastic dinosaur, nail clippers, pocket knife, shell casing, fence parts, barrette, couple of tent grommets, fish pendant, couple of nails, another old key, $1.27 in clad, and many, many pull tabs and bottle caps. Detectors used were two Ace 250s and a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 101.

Wow....nice beach obviously!!!! :o :o :o
I like early morning beach hunt too. Quiet, just the waves and no blistering sun.
Nice job.

thanks
yeah it started to get hot and we were burning so we got home before evening traffic.also there's not the extra 100 pull tabs and bottles caps we dug up would like to find a not so trashy beach if there is such a thing in galveston. was a good change from the tot lots and schools.

Wow.. Very nice. Looks like you found a spot that hadn't been detected in a while. HH

Whoa!!! Holy Smokes!!! You got the two for one deal...It was truly worth the 2 hrs both ways. Congrats on your finds...HH

I saw 7 on our beach Monday after the Easter holiday. Even gave up my honey hole to a fellow Md'er since I'm working so much.
