1st Nugget

I found this nugget metal detecting. My goal was to find one this year and BAM!!! I did it. It is called crumble gold because if you handle it too much it breaks in pieces.

Congrats on the Gold Nugget and hope you find many more as well as the source! From the rough and crusty appearance of the Nugget, it appears to have eroded out from the source very recently. you might want to see if the Nuggets found and anymore found show a path from where they come. If so, then they might lead you to a vein or more pieces that have eroded out. You might want to take some buckets, Gold Pans, Gold Classifiers and even a Drywasher along next time and see if you can pull out some fine Gold as it is likely there.
