Found the seals today on a site I've done for years. Things still keep coming up! They are both 1 year apart 1765 and 1766 and were found close to each other. They are Russian flax seals to secure a bag of grain or hemp. Thanks for looking.

Very cool to find those seals with the dates on them.

Cheers mate.

Just as good as an old coin. Those are cool.

I,ve found about 10 bale seals so far...not 1 has the date on it.

So your seals are very very cool....I can really appreciate them after finding some myself .

I LOVE old lead seals. Such a cool symbol of every day life back then. Those are fantastic with the year on them and they're in great shape for the age. Great finds
