2 Hunts today

[jeff of pa]

met up with my Nephew "djm of PA" to hunt a couple properties.
Being they are Private Properties I am only posting a 1937 Aeriel
showing them.



The first one was a Former Gambling spot
which rumor has it there was also a Ball Field.
allot of work needs to be done yet to find where The Bleachers
& ball field were. We wondered the field but finds were too thin
to tell.

The woods are too thick, But once they burn down The former gambling shack
and clean up that area some, We may get lucky.

Finds there were slim
but Consisted of half a Pa clip

next stop was a house built in 1927

finds the back of a dump truck

Nice atleast your location spit up some silver my recent old hotel site I found that dated to the 1850's turned out to be a construction dump site today...

Ouch ! that changes things
Hopefully you can at least find some
corners of the property that haven't been trashed

Yes the yard at the second spot was nice for that.

The gambling woods at the first spot was loaded with Iron trash,
sewing machine with a tree growing through it,
pile of old electrical boxes,
Extension cords stretched trough the woods
growing fast to the ground,
weeds too thick to see what I was stepping in., or swinging over.

to name some of the problems.

So I was being picky. the field was practically barren

I'd insist on green food coloring

it was fairly small ,
fits in a silver Dollar coin Card.
I'm wondering if it was from a child's Cook set




this one suggests Cat not Frog, but does look slightly different

I wish it was made by Zippo

I was able to free up the Wheel.

The wick needs adjustment somehow.
the part showing is Rotted & can't be pulled on without it falling apart,
& the flint has swollen or pasted fast inside.

I suppose a Professional could drill out or extract the Flint & insert a new Wick, But

will Still make a nice addition in one of my Display cases
