Was back at the spot where I have been pulling large cents out on a regular basis. I found 2 more a 1830 and an older one but cannot tell a date yet. I also pulled out a really neat copper smoking pipe at about 8 inches. The pipe is about 5 inches long with a 1 1/2 inch bowl. Also pulled a 1942 wheat penny. The 3 guys I was hunting with each pulled out 2 large cents each. That was 8 for the day out of my favorite search sight. I myself have pulled 9 in the last month including a 1821. Enjoy the pics of what I found the other guys will have to post thier own.

Popular indeed with that copper smokeing pipe handy.

Congrats on the big pennies  I'm not in the prime location for finding LC's but maybe someday I'll get lucky and find at least one!

Nice job,
Nat

Bet that guy had some messed up lungs from smoking thru that :o

I think that your 'smoking pipe' might be the spout from a kettle. Still a nice find.

I'd say so ;D But it does resemble the neck of a tea kettle

I never even thought that this could have been a tea pot spot. It is definately copper so maybe it is a tea pot spot. Thanks for the insight. I wonder if the rest of the tea pot is still there too. I will have to look a little deeper.
